@Tookie I have a Whiting True Blue Rooster he's about 2 years old I'm rehoming him tomorrow because he's been very aggressive towards me drawn blood on me four to five times with his spurs I was going to get a Lavender Orpington is that breed sweet towards people?

My best rooster was a maran, but I had a good Cochin Roo as well. The Cochin was more of a yard ornament than an actual rooster haha so yea, keep that in mind with the soft boys.

It also helps to get a young cockerel and put it with older already laying adult hens. They put him in his place a little bit. I read this in the comments and tried it and it worked for me. Good luck!

7 months old is fine, you just have to do proper integration.

Yes, do that for 2 weeks about.
A month chick would be a bit young, plus you'd want more chicks to give him company.

Sounds good @Tookie I have another chicks in the brooder box but I was afraid when he got two to three months old and I put him out there with the older hens they would beat him up plus the other too bantam roosters at a young age and get him really scared a young one
