'Wild type' refers to coloring - Khakis are 'wild type' in coloring.

Oh, in that case, my khakis hated my other ducks, they always stuck to their own little territories the two flocks were so against each other that even the females in each group didnt get along. We actually had to block off access to each other....

Interesting to see how Oreo matures. As a kid my family raised mule ducks as meat birds. We always ran Pekin males with Muscovy hens as Muscovy drakes didn't seem to successfully inseminate Pekin hens. Even Pekin drakes over Muscovy hens only provided moderate levels of fertility.

That could be the reason that we only got one. Compared to how many pekins we got out of that same hatch.

Yes, oreo does the typical tail way that elvis did. Tail is also crooked quite often to.
