Batesy its hard to tell with the pics but it looks like a boy to me. can you get a side pic with it standing on its own and a front head on pic? It looks to have streamers and red wattles which to me say roo.

Can you contact the breeder and maybe get your money back? I dont know what the conversion rate is from Australian money to US but $24 is a bit much for a beardless roo in my opinion, although it does have a nice crest

Then again I have paid very large amounts of money for chooks before and everyone around me thinks I am nuts.
