What gender is this?

Good afternoon, I am having trouble telling whether this is a male or female. Was told at pet shop was about 3 months old and female. Stands more upright than my other hen. Help much appreciated. Thank you.

It appears to be a young rooster, buff cochin.

He's a handsome little guy.

gonna go with gitabooks, its a Roo
cochin. you can tell from its 'boots' (Fur on its feet/legs) and how small it is.

If it's 3 months, I'm thinking pullet. My cochin males announce much earlier than this.

He's a rooster.

He's a boy. Cochins can just be a bit slower to mature.
