I have three campbell ducks which are now 5 months old. One of them laid their first egg today and I am unsure of their genders. Can anyone help?

They look to be all female, you can check for definate by listening to their quacks. Only the females quack( kinda sounds like honking) the males will make a monotone raspy noise. Check out this link to here the male and female "quacks" http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm By the way they are beautiful especially the butterscotch one!

Awww thank you so much! That's really helpful. This sounds quite bad, but i've never owned ducks before, do you know what colour the brown one is because it is supposed to be 'blue' but others have said it is chocolate or khaki?

Pleasure! The brown one is probably a dusky, the butterscotchy one, I have know idea you can even get cambells that colour, why don't you head on over to the cambell thread, I am sure they will be able to help you. (I know it is technically a khaki cambell thread but they should help you)https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/302654/the-khaki-campbell-duck-thread
Thank You. The Butterscotch is definately apricot, it is just the brown one i'm unsure of. Thank you once again :D

I just wanted to say that they are all BEAUTIFUL!! Love the darkest one, simply gorgeous! They do look like all females to me as well, but the voice is the one true way to tell, as Mccluckers has said. :)

Also, what are those colored plastic things sticking out of the straw?

Thank you very much. They all have great personalities. And thank you for the help. They are actually pegs i used to play hoopla la with when I was little. I put them in the duck pen and they just seemed to like walking in and out of them and pecking at them so they stayed. :D
