No. I bought her when she was a year old from a local friend of mine.
This is why I prefer F1 Easter Eggers to convential Easter Eggers.

Some things that really bothers me though is when people sell Easter Eggers as true Ameraucanas or true Araucanas. It just makes me so mad!

I've also been told that $5 for a 1 year old laying hen was an exorbitant price.

On the other side of this coin I answered an online ad for a specific breed at a specific price... I never quibbled the price... just tried to make an appointment to view the chickens and got repeatedly accused of trying to offer less than the asking price and it proved impossible to arrange an appointment / get through the mad bargaining I never started...on birds I’d never seen...

Personally I’m excruciatingly honest and have never had problem buyer yet - but I’m sure there will be a first...

Tell ya'll I'm tired of these ppl (mostly women) who ask are your roosters friendly do they get along with kids,dogs,cats etc I want a friend for him does he have a brother that can come with him blah blah blah.

Then explain I swear for the millionth billionth time that roosters don't normally make good pets that they fight with other roos and their mood can change quickly like every living animal I know of they are like oh I'll have to think about it...

I seriously want to type back saying why bother thinking about it when you seriously have done no thinking or research on owning chickens because if you did you would know this. I just had a lady ask me if my boys were ok with wearing diapers and literally typed back are you joking..

Or the ppl who are willing to take free roosters off your hands but then jerk ya around and go oh I'll think about it or talk to my family. Had one do that to me today what dipsticks, they should not say they want them arrange a time then miss it say they are running late then they ain't coming cuz they have not even left.

Oh well I'll have a freezer of chicken this winter.
