Temp is 99.5 & humidity is staying around 65. Lockdown is Sunday going to bump up the humidity to 70 or 75. Do you think that's good????

It's a still air incubator & the air sacs look good, I'm going off of pics of air sacs. That's my problem I've done so much research online & most of the sites say average humidity should be 65% then at lockdown bump to 75%. This is really confusing, i'm a nervous wreck !!!!!:barnie

I'll get WV to help you..I'm not familiar with those incubators at all. She knows her stuff..Hold on and I'll tag her again.
@WVduckchick
Please help and take over..

Sorry you lost that one. Usually a bruise like that happens when one tries to pip and only tears the membrane, so some liquid seeps between the membrane and the shell, causing the bruise. BUT..I've never seen that happen on such an under-developed one, so I'm not sure what the cause was. My guess is bacterial cause of some sort.

@Sue S Humidity is a tough variable for us all, because there is no perfect number! Its different for everyone, depending on your local conditions, and many other factors. Check out the link in my signature box for my article on humidity.

If you think they are big enough, then go ahead and raise humidity 3 days prior to the due date. If they are too small, you can wait an extra day.
