What has been the best (life) advice anyone has ever given you?

Best advice I've ever gotten. Everything else merely follows this as the first and foremost important thing I've ever learned.

All of these are gonna be from my parents because...well, I'm still in HS and they've done alot of influencing over the years.

If you can't accept yourself as you are, how do you expect other people to?

Count your blessings.

Don't waste time worrying about what might have been. - this ones mine idk if they agree

Live in the present and learn from the past.

My grandmother told me that my keeping myself so upset and angry over things that other people did is just hurting me. The person you are cussing in your mind isn't being bothered. In fact you are wasting part of your precious time on this earth by holding anger and hatred in you. Don't give them any of your time. Let it go and live your life as the best person you can be.
