What has been your experience with Eggbid.com?

i got stiffed trying to buy eggs. paypal can't give you money back if the account is left empty. good luck. i'm not the only person who has had trouble with eggbid sellers.

I bought my Barred Cochin Pair and just got 6 Cochin Shicks from there, all sellers were in GA so I made arrangements to drive to pick up, saved me shipping and saved the sellers paypal as I paid upon pickup.

Strangely, just last night I was bidding on some White Coturnix quail eggs (eggbid) and the Seller himself kept jumping the bid.
I stopped bidding .. and he was the FINAL bidder.

Absolutely not right.I see he did this on 2 of his auctions.He will not get any bids anyways when people see what he does.ALWAYS READ FEEDBACK!

Ive bought a pair of call ducks through eggbid.com. The seller was very nice and informative of his birds. I had no problems.

No matter where you purchase from, eggbid.com, ebay.com, byc, there is always somebody who is looking to rip you off.

Eggbid is like ebay, full of lots of different kinds of people, good and bad. You really need to check out the feedback on a seller. Before i bid any large amount, i generally email the seller with a question, just to get an idea of how communicative they are. i don't like to wager a lot of money with a seller who doesn't return emails.

And that bidding on your own auction thing, no, that is way against the rules on eggbid or ebay.

It sounds like he was trying to raise his price to what he thought was acceptable. That kind of behavior is outrageous and he shouldn't be allowed to do that.
