Went to a firends house to help her cook brussels sprouts ( she never cooked them before

) and I collected all the leaves and stems and brought them back home to my girls. They will be happy in the morning.

I took a dozen cracked eggs and extra shells and whirled them in the blender and cooked and cooled them and fed them to the girls.

Gave them some bell pepper innards and some stall bread they realy love the peppers and seeds

I may be creating little monsters... I made mine oatmeal with fresh sauteed apples for breakfast. Then I gave them the leftover homemade waffles in the middle of the day. I just gave them some BOSS.... cleaned their coop, gave them fresh water, put out a new roosting bar for daytime..... someone please stop me...I think they are brainwashing me.

Mine recieved bread crumbs today, tomorrow they will get some wild brid seed. Today I got 8 eggs out of 28 hens. Yesterday I got 12 eggs. Today they also recieved 3 new friends 2 Turken (Naked Necks) and 1 Game cross hen.

Ooo Christmas Eve. They got a cleaned out coop and run with fresh shavings in the coop and fresh straw in the run, which they go crazy for the little wheat grains. I raked their sand and disinfected their waterer. They had a ball dustbathing. They also got mealworms, sunflower hearts, scratch, chopped up lettuce and a strawberry and half a sweet potato. I think we like doing things for our chickens because they are SO appreciative. You just know when they like it.
The wild birds, squirrels and deer got BOSS and dried corn on the cob. I don't feed the deer but today I did, just a little.

Took their leftover food (bottom of the barrel so to speak) cooked up 6 eggs with some milk and cream of wheat, mixed it all together, let it cool down a bit and then dumped it on a paper plate in their cleaned run!

cleaned all the cages and moved them around to make them more comfortable. They are in temporary housing until their breeding hutches are built
