What Height for Watering Chicks?

I've rigged up a a PVC waterer for the baby chicks who don't arrive until April 2nd. Was wondering what height should I start the nipples out at for them? Any suggestions? I will also have a standard chick waterer to begin with as well.

For nipple waterers, you want the orange part to be at eye level or just above. They grow fast so you'll have to prepare to raise it. Eye level makes them peck at it. once they start using them, they can be higher yet just so the smallest can get water from them.
