Were you able to get extra calcium into her?UPDATE: She took quite a large and healthy looking poop, and now the prolapse is soft, so my guess is that it was the poop causing it to feel hard? I gave her an epsom salt bath, the tums, moisturized the prolapse, I was trying to gently push it back inside but with no luck. I'm not sure if I'm just not pushing with enough force (I am scared lol) or if for whatever reason it doesn't want to go back in. She is contracting.
If the tissue won't stay in, just keep it moist with whatever ointment/cream/oil that you have, that's the main thing is to not let it dry out.
The white creamy looking material that's coming out and coating the tissue is fairly normal, it's urates, but it will often stick and make a coating over the tissue. The ointments/oils, etc. can help keep that from happening sometimes.
Do the best you can. If she's exhausted, then let her rest. Do try to keep her drinking, fluids are extremely important along with the calcium and keeping tissue moist.
(Calcium helps with retention of tissue, contractions and if she's struggling with an egg as well, it can help her expel it more easily).
