What is Egg whitish mucus on ledge or coop ramp?

I’m about to have laying chickens and none have layed yet this morning I went outside and one of my EE is very vocal and going in and outside and I noticed a egg white mucus like substance on the coop ramp? Is this something like a disease or is she about to lay her first egg do chickens produce some sort of mucus? Or is this a disease starting? I noticed it nowhere else and I didn’t take a picture I should have. It had no blood, no yellow like a yolk it was about the size of a half dollar and looked like clearish mucous?

Oh my word I just realized something we have a new Roo… is it possible my hen rejected him and has pooped it out or ejected it I’ve heard of that happening??? I’m just trying to rule everything out no one seems sick right now
