What is going on between these two?

Okay.

Hmmm. We are looking to rehome the 2 female Pekin and probably Mordecai. In their place, bring in 3 female Muscovy, since we love our Muscovy so much. My older son loves Maggie and we want to keep him.

I hope we don't have too many issues with who loves who and who wants to hang out with who.

We think there are two drakes, maybe 3. :(

Cupcake, one of the Muscovy, we think is a male. Though the 2 muscovy are about the same age, Cupcake is much bigger.

We still don't know what our runner is. Though, Duckter J's sounds are like a cool "wah-wah" which leads me to believe male. Never heard a quack. So, we are at a stand still.

My husband loves Duckter J. Cupcake is the most awesome. My son loves Maggie. We know 3 males and 5 females will probably NOT work out. My husband mentioned possibly buying a duck permit and just getting more females to accommodate 3 males. It's just so hard after we have gotten attached!

If Sunshine is only 13-15 weeks old, 'she' may very well be a drake that has not yet developed nuptial plumage. Signs of a hen are loud quack, brown/black bill rather than olive. It's hard to tell from the video, but it almost looks as if her head is changing color to drake plumage.

That’s sounds like a good plan then if the time comes you need to rehome then make the decision.

I just went outside and they are all cozied up under the lantana bush, which is their favorite place to hunker down in. You'd think they just loved each other so much to fight or bicker.

It seems that the pools are what causes squabbles and nips. But, still, worrying about the number of males. Gah!

Sometimes my ducks will fight in the pool, and even around the water buckets, usually right after I fill them. Usually it's the females fighting each other with the drake trying to get in the middle and break it up. They stop after a few minutes and get along peacefully.

They get so excited when there's new water that they just go crazy!
