It's long and tubular, maybe spiraled and it's kind of stiff. I thought a piece of hay but it's pink. She seems to have some egg dripping from her. Some yellow, some clear. And she pooped right in front of me and it looked okay.

She's 9 and lays occasionally. She is not puffed up and is acting normal.
Getting set up to come inside for a warm epsom salt bath. Sounds like a super fun 9pm sunday activity...

That is an egg membrane, and it looks like she has had a shell-less egg break inside. What are you feeding her? Do you put crushed oyster shell out in a separate container from her food? I would give her a 1/2 Tums or human calcium tablet orally for the next 2-3 days, to see if she lays a normal egg with a hard shell.

She is fed Dumor 16% layer pellet and yes on the oyster shells. Still worth doing the warm bath for her?

The bath might get her cleaned up and make her feel better, but if she is really weak or wiped out, I would hold off.

All around she seems fine. She did have a few words for me because she was sleeping and i grabbed her.
A nice warm bath did the trick!!!

Glad that she has passed the membrane. Keep an eye on her since this can happen to a young layer, or due to a calcium deficiency, but it sometime affects hens with reproductive problems, and they can do it often. Hens who lay shell-less eggs may feel very weak and they can have a hard time passing them. Try the calcium for a few days, since it helps muscle contraction and should make the shells hard.
