I got a batch of assorted chickies from mcmurray..
i dont think its a sex-link because i dont think mcmurray would do that but im not sure

And also do you think hes/shes a roo or a hen?

I got a black sex link from McMurray but she had much less red on her. In fact now that she is 7 months old she is almost entirely black... with just tiny splashes of red on her breast.

I imagine there is variation in sex links, but she is not an EE.

I would say hen but i don't know about breed.

I had a black sexlink that was almost completely red with the most intriguing black pencilling on each feathers, she looked so neat.
BSL can range from being almost completely black to having a nice red chest(like yours, most of mine looked that way too) to being dominantly red with black markings.
