es he has feathers on his legs, wonder how I got a copper maran? hoping he was a chocolate leghorn. well he is for sale............

When you breed blue, you get black, bue and splash. I don't know to much about Marans, but I think a copper can pop up once in a while from solid blues. I had 2 cockerals I hatched from Blue Copper Marans eggs, and one was solid blue and the other was splash copper. Both were roosters so I don't have them anymore. I don't know if maybe they had both solids and coppers in their pen or what, the picture they had was of just blue and spash coppers.
