What is killing my chickens!!!!

What time of day are they being killed ? Are they in a covered pen or locked coop ? Several species of predators eat the head first, but most then eat part or all of the bodies. One pred that I have dealt with that ate heads and then part of the neck was a Great Horned Owl.

Its at night always that they get attacked. I have them in a coop that untill now was pretty closed up.

I want to sleep outside tonight to see if I hear them get attacked. My wife thinks I'm nuts lol. They are my pets. It happens at night. I thought racoons rip the chickens appart. Its weird how just the feathers are ripped off and the face mutilated.

Game camera's are good to have, so you know what's coming around your coop.

Its a racoon!!! I just saw it. I'm sleeping outside and heard my chickens going nuts. I looked in the coop and nothing. I went around my shed and saw him

Is it getting inside, or only pulling their heads through chicken wire. If it’s chicken wire, might be better to replace it with hardware cloth. At least that’s what I’ve read.
