Welcome!Okay thanks so much!
Weasels wouldnt be able to carry your birds away.I do have weasels and links around my area.
Thats not true.Fox eat only the brains and guts, according to my research.
Skunks arent large enough to carry full-size poultry away either. Fwitw ive had the unpleasant experience of having a gray fox hunt my free-ranging chickens during the daytime hours. It adjusted since they were securely locked up during the night. If not for the fact i penned the survivors up And aquired an additional lgd to confront the fox, it would have likely got them all.You may be dealing with a skunk.
Weasels and ferrets can easily carry off full sized chickensWeasels wouldnt be able to carry your birds away.
The only predators i have that can grab & carry off full grown chickens are coyotes, bobcats and fox. (Smaller predators can After they've consumed part of the carcass). But it is true the large predators usually leave few feathers behind, while the op said they saw a lot of feathers. So thanks for correcting me; im sure you are right. So can civit cats, fishers, mink, martins, opposums, and feral house cats.
They sure would!Weasels wouldnt be able to carry your birds away.
