Help me out please! I ordered several EE chicks. They are all about 10 weeks now. Several had gotten very wet and i even lost a couple to a bad storm when they were about 2 weeks old. Several i was able to save after a night indoors with the blowdryer. Could Legs be a damaged EE from the storm? or is she a different breed? She is taller then the others, because of those long legs and Crazy long neck. I just don't know what to make of it...

This is Freckles. She is another EE that came in the same order/Same age.

Oh my! NO! lol Wouldn't she be bigger all around? it's just been in the last 3 weeks or so that she has really started to stand out from her other hatch/order mates, and her feathers/down is still white... While you can see that her order mates are feathering out nicely now.
What would a 10 week old turkey look like?

Please God No! I don't want a Turkey!

With EEs being crossed with many different chicken breeds no telling what they will look like. It looks like a young gangly cockerel who needs to grow into his body we see this in human males as well as other animals.

Males tend to be slow feathering as well in some breeds.

I thought that even IF she was a turkey she should be more feathered out then this. That was what made me wonder if her near death experience at 2 weeks old in that storm might have something to do with it. Although the others haven't been affected this way.
If she is just an EE crossed with who-knows-what, what could that be? Does she look like another breed of chicken? with the long neck, i almost wondered about the necked neck chickens....

I think you need to take more pictures of your chick. Take pictures of its face. If it was a turkey, there would be a little bump and if it was a chicken it would have a tiny comb. There are very tall and long necked chicken breeds so no need for alarm.
