What is "Legs"?

I'm no expert, so take what I say at face value, but I read they generally feather out between 3 - 4 weeks of age... or start to, at least, and, frequently with Shamos, their feathers don't cover all of their body.

Also read they can be aggressive towards chickens of the same gender in crowded situations, they are very capable of killing off others. Read that Shamos are usually kept 3 to a pen to avoid fighting.

I wish I knew with 100% certainty, but I don't, as I've never had them. Definitely been wanting some, though! Glad I came across this thread, I may join their waiting list when I can accomodate these larger beauties.

We are between 14-15 weeks. Legs is finally getting some feathering. Some looks like down. Other parts have that nice brown look. Oh! And her checks are puffy compared to the rest of her! Lol here are some pics taken this evening.

I'm actually wondering if the fact she has no feathers is making her neck look longer.

If you look at this one

And then picture no feathers to the top of her wings it would also have a very long looking neck.

Hate to say it but could it be that its a little rooster on top of everything else and so has a more upright stance which is adding to the neck length look as well.
