What is "Mash" chick feed?

I am stopping off tonight for a bag of feed for my 7 week old chicks. I have enough of the medicated chick feed to get them through their 8th week so I'm going to buy Grow-Cal (Blue Seal) feed for them tonight. They say I can buy it in Pellet or Mash form. I worry that my banties won't be able to handle pellets but I'm not sure what "Mash" is. Can someone tell me? Is it just fine crushed feed just like the chick feed they are eating now??

it a powder mashed grain. basically layer pellets mashed up into powder . thats what i use layer mash blueseal for my older flock . and its called grower cal mash. for your chicks. cant beat blueseal quality and price . blueseal grains #1 in my book

Ok, sounds good. Sounds like it is the same consistency as the Blue Seal Medicated Chick Starter.
