Can any of yall PLEASE tell me what my Sammy boy is? He was purchased at Tractor Supply last Spring and was white with a small bit of black highlights as a chick. I've yet to have anyone who could figure it out. He's just ornery too if that helps any! lol

Thanks for the compliments! He's actually a more plump than he looks too, he just had to take his King Tut stance as we call it lol

Could he be a mix between the ISA and the Columbian? That's what he looks like...a little of both. I'll have to take his pic down to Tractor Supply this weekend and see if someone there can identify him since that's where he came from. I'm more or less trying to figure out whether he's worth keeping around the hens to breed with or if he's just an attack rooster for the yard lol

I'll have to post back what he is if they can tell me for sure. Thanks to everyone who's responded!

yes, columbians colored chickens (for example: Columbian plymouth rocks, Columbian Wyandottes) will have black tail feathers and black hackle feathers, or neck feathers... the black can have a green sheen to it... (much like an australorp)

i don't think ISA brown roosters have black on them at all...

pretty positive he's a columbian rock...

below is an ISA brown rooster.
