We have had our turkey, Snowbird, since May. We were told it was a month old already. We are pretty sure we have a female, but "she" did puff up and spread tail feathers when attacked by the roosters a couple months ago. I'm attempting to attach a pic but not sure if it will take.
Also, when we got Snow, we were told she was a Royal Palm, but I can feel confident that this is incorrect. I've looked up different breeds and can't find anything that looks like my Snowbird. In case the picture doesn't come through, she has golden tan back and wings with white head and tips.
I' appreciate any help with this one. Oh, BTW, she hangs out with the guineas and has been making a lot of noise recently. Since I'm not a hunter, I don't know the calls of makes versus females.
Thank you,
Beth
