The hen next to him looks like a speckled Sussex and welsummer mix, for starters, and the male, give me a minute.

Actually, I take that back, she doesn't have a single comb, as both named breeds do, she is a mix of some sort though...

They are definitely mixed breeds, it is difficult to determine, but the one hen is very like the mottled java!

To me, it looks like they have different combs. The rooster looks like he has a strawberry or rose comb, though it's kind of hard to tell from this picture, and the mother looks more like she has a cushion comb...but I could be wrong on that.
