I might add that it's easier to cut vertically....like down the leg, not horizontally.

Ichthamol also works great on bumblefoot, warm soak in epsom salts for 15 min, then wrap with gauze and vetrap or duct tape, just like you would a horse I used to put a sock around my guys feet just in case they got wet (but those were muscovies, so getting wet was usually a rule).
