What is the differance in RIR and Production reds?

There are just as many differences between the R.I. Red and a Production Red as a R.I. Red and a New Hampshire.
Over all color, Body Shape, Body Size, Egg Production, Egg Color etc. R.I. Reds come is both Single and Rose Comb where the Production Reds only come in a Single Comb.
The R.I. Red is a "true" breed where some Production Reds are a Hybrid.
Some Production Red like the New Hampshire was bread solely from the Rhode Island Red, other lines of Production Reds are from the crossing of a R.I. Red and a Leghorn..

(I all so would like to add there are all so as differences between the Rhode Island Red and the Production Red as there are differences between the (hatchery R.I. Red and a R.I. Red from a breeder that is bread to the American Standard of Perfection)
