Between a pharaoh (coturnix) and a pharoah xld1? Is the XLD1 a jumbo? Are they all the same with different names?

The XLD1 is a jumbo. Technically, 'pharaoh' is the color (brown), the smaller ones are 'wild type' while the bigger ones are jumbo. Most of us refer to the smaller 'wild type' birds as 'pharaohs' and the larger ones as jumbo browns. XLD1 is just another way of saying 'jumbo coturnix'.

Thank you! On the Lake Cumberland website, they list pharoah xld1, and jumbo browns as if they are 2 separate kind of coturnix, so I was wondering what was the difference. I am assuming they are calling the wild type xld1?

Apparently, on their site XLD1 is for the smaller, wild-type coturnix. XLD1 should be a jumbo bird.
