What is the dosage of sulfaclozine sodium monohydrate dissolved in water?

Your vet gave you medicine without giving a dosage amount? That is weird to me.

I would continue to mix a fresh batch daily like you have done and hope she drinks enough. Can you mark the water level on your waterer to see about how much water she is drinking each day...also you may want to use some of this treated water to mix into a small amount of feed to make a mash.
Indeed he did. i tried to give her some mash, but she's kinda stubborn and any food she eats seems to get stuck in her throat so I've been giving her sugar water with some vinegar. I'll be keeping the medicated water fresh.

Make the mash more liquified.
Becareful you aren't forcing water into the wrong hole. Do you think you could get a small tube in to tube feed straight to the crop?

I can try to give her some more runny mash, but I don't think the tube thing would be possible, because I don't have anything small enough laying around. Also I don't think I trust myself enough to get it in the right hole :p

Looks like the mash isn't going to work. Even after PAINSTAKINGLY getting a bit of feed in her mouth, she just lets it dribble out and doesn't really make an effort to swallow it.

How much of the drug are you using in the water? In the link in post 6 it gives several mixing instructions. Basically it says to dissolve 1-2 grams of powder into a liter of water, and treat for 3 days. Skip 2 days, and treat 2 more days if symptoms persist. Of course, that is for treatment of coccidiosis.

There is also a drench where the whole packet is mixed into a liter of water, and given orally. Then it says to give 10 ml per every 10 kg which is 22 pounds. Chickens probably would get 2-3 ml maximum per day.

Can you try to get FishZole online? Look at post 5 for a link. Dosage is 250 mg daily for 5 days.

I'm sorry. If the throat is too far closed up already she is going to basically starve to death. Have you thought about putting her down?

I'm sorry, but ordering online isn't really an option for me. The packet I have says: "Mix 1g of the sachet into 3 liters of water and treat for 3 days or alternate days (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th). In case of coccidiosis caused by E. tenella and E. Necatix, the recommended dose is 1.5g to 2g into 3 liters of water and treat for at least 5 days. For treatment of typhus, the dose is 1g to 2g in 3 liters of water and treatment for 5 days."
Which is correct? Why is this so complicated?

That's what I'm afraid of. I have thought about putting her down, but I want to wait to see if she'll get better.
If she isn't drinking the water she won't get better IF this medicine will even treat the canker. I am not familiar with it and have never seen it used for canker.

If I were trying to use this med then I would use it at the 2 gram dose and for the 5 days.

How many days has she not really been eating so far?

I'm giving her the water with the syringe though. The 2 gram for 3 liters of water? Not sure how long she hasn't been eating. She was around 3 kilos and now she feels like 2 or 1.5 kilos.
