What is the dosage of sulfaclozine sodium monohydrate dissolved in water?

I'm giving her the water with the syringe though. The 2 gram for 3 liters of water? Not sure how long she hasn't been eating. She was around 3 kilos and now she feels like 2 or 1.5 kilos.
Yes but I don't think it is necessary to mix it in 3 whole liters.
You could add only 1.5 grams to 1.5 liters...or even calculate out a smaller amount.

If she isn't getting better and doesn't start eating soon I (personally) wouldn't let her suffer much longer.

I agree, if you cannot get FishZole, I would use your medicine at the maximum dosage on the label. If you have othe poultry, be sure to clean all feeders and waterers with a 10% bleach solution. There are some that use acidified copper sulfate 1/4 tsp per gallon of water on the other birds for 3 days a month for prevention of canker. Of course many poultry farms remove and cull any bird with canker because it is contagious and easily spread.

I've already cleaned out all the bowls with the bleach. How much antibiotics is fatal amount? I gave her about 30ml of medicated water and that's about 0.00033 grams of antibiotics, and that seems ridiculous. Can I just give her 0.5g or 1g of the medication in 10ml? I feel like her fate is decided either way.

I would just use the maximum dose that is on your instructions, or call the vet’s office about what maximum dose to use. Many antibiotic dosages are variable dependent on how much water they consume. Does the bag have anything about where it was manufactured? I wonder if that is something used in other countries. It was difficult to find dosages. Sorry this is so confusing.

I am not familiar with this medicine either. I am sorry.

Are you in the US?

You may ask your vet for metronidazole, also called Flagyl. That is the generic of Fish Zole. It is used all over the world in humans and in animals. In humans it is used for certain vaginal infections, giardia, heart infections, amoebic infections, in treatment of ulcers, and others. Has there been any improvement on the sulfa drug?

In my previous thread, some very helpful members told me that I needed to get some metronidazole from my vet for my hen with canker. When I went to the vet he handed me a 10g sachet of sulfaclozine sodium monohydrate, which he said is the same as metronidazole, and medicates 30 liters of water. After I got home I mixed ~0.7g into 2 liters of water. I've syringe fed my hen 10ml of it already, but I have no idea how much she needs to drink of this stuff and how often. Any help would be appriciated. The packaging says It treats coccidiosis, but I'm not entirely sure what that is.
Is this what your package looks like?
