This may sound like I'm blowing smoke! I just got through with 3 shipments a week apart from the same person, same flock, same everything, the packing was good. They made it through the Post Office fine and they called me, because I told them to hold my mail and I had eggs due in those days. I picked up the eggs they were nice and cool, I let them sit 6-8 hrs, candled and made notes. I incubated and candled on schedule, my temps were on the mark, my humidity was 42% average, when I quit turning I got the humidity on 70%. These eggs were fertile I must say! My hatch rate was whooping 86% for the 3 shipments. Now the next time I order from a different person it could be 0% they are too many things that can go wrong and it only takes one to kill the hatch. The way the temps is outside now is too hot for me to expect good rates from shipping.
