I have heard of chickens being sold for $100 per chicken with 6 fertile eggs costing $150.

I sold 2 silkie roosters for $0.50 each at auction! Wasn't even worth the drive, but then who wants to eat a silkie?

Bought a trio of SSH bantams from Jim La Gendre for $150, not including shipping costs. Just absolutely beautiful birds!

The most I've sold a bird for was like $10 for a rooster which i guess wasn't bad.

The most expensive I've paid for a bird was $20 for a OEGB pullet and around $25 for 12 hatching eggs which only 1 hatched lol.


I've actually been looking for a good SQ class a or smaller serama pullet for around $50.
