$$$What is the most expensive chicken you have brought or sold?$$$

Sold a pair of large fowl Partridge Cochins at an auction in Missouri for $150.00 including the cheap welded wire cage.
Can't remember ever paying over $25.00 to $30.00 for a chicken. Have several breeds of chicks and hatching eggs reserved for this spring that's probably gonna sting though.

Sheesh, I don't even want to think about it...

$30 for Spitzhauben eggs that got totally scrambled in shipping...Not sellers fault, they came from far away and I was fully aware of the risk shipping across country. I was very disappointed that I didn't get any fuzzies from that

She offered to reship, but I didn't want to waste more of her eggs.

$200 is the most I have ever paid for a bird! Said I would never pay over a hundred and what did I do....
It hurt too!! LOL!!

Paid $140 for a nice pair of Ameraucanas.

Paid $180 for a dozen Tolbunt Polish eggs, ended up with only 2 cockerels but still am very pleased with my two boys.

I have a $500 Ga Noi cock and 2 $200 hens, but i didn't pay kinda, the deal is they lay i hatch, then we split the chicks

Ga Noi are an OLD breed of oriental gamefowl, they usually look funny to most people not only because of their dinosaur appearance, upright posture, and hawk-like eyes but also their lack of feathers around the thighs, arms, and often neck. Also, they usually have huge, dragon-like scales at the legs. Very beautiful to me.

I'd pay $500 for a good oriental cock, and I'd certainly consider a good Ga Noi worth it. They're very rare.
