I once fed my birds a Tuna Carcass - they looked at it the first day( as it sat in the sun at 90 degrees), I buried it the second day and they dug it up the third day and ate all of the maggots for the next two days then finally finished it off after about a week. YUK!

well seeing that i was the one who started the road kill thread, i have to say road kill. fresh squirrel must be the best thing they have ever tasted, even my very picky goose was going really chowing down. once they finished it they were picking bits of meat of each others beaks and following me around for more

ive feed them maggots and raw turkey before and they liked that a lot too.



I don't mean to get this thread to off topic about road kill though
