LOL..again.. its the property owners choice.. noone elses. Period.
See how simple it really is.. YOU own the property and are running the tag sale.. if YOU allow dogs.. then dogs are allowed... period.
Now if you DIDNT ask the property owners and just brought your dog on their property.... well... yep... thats dam rude..
Simple common courtesy... just ask the property owners. Easy peasy... not rocket science.

ETA: They changed my word to "very"...
Notice how I STARTED to answer very seriously, and then just kinda lost it and went off to a la-la fantasy? It's like mid-way through answering I realized it just wasn't worth that level of seriousness.
There is a big difference in taking your dog for a walk an running across a yard sale or going yard saleing an taking your dog. People that take there dogs everywhere I have no use for. If a local is walking there dogs an stops in thats fine as long as there dog does not cause problems. But me, I will never take my dogs on to someones property weather they say it ok or not. Its just rude.
I don't mind any dogs, or other animals, coming to my yard sale. And if I wanted to take my dog I would. I see no difference taking your dog then others taking their children. When I do flea markets I have more problems with kids then animals.
First I am a dog lover!....but dogs & "some"people do not mix! I have found that a lot of people are terrified of dogs, and taking a dog where alot of people will be congregating, such as a yard sale for instance is not a very good idea....in fact just today i was in a restaurant and there was a service/medical dog in there,a black lab,and was out fitted with his service/medical signs & gear, he was laying on the floor, not in the way or anything, and a young lady walked by and noticed the dog there and almost had a heart attack! it scared her so bad, it wasn't a pleasant site to see.

Oh ya! At least dog are on a leash and can be controled by the owner. A kid is not and is allowed to run around. I am not saying all kids, because some parents are very responsible for theirs. But I agree I am taking my dog if I want.
