What is the strangest thing you've fed your chickens?

Mine go nuts for dandelions... Thankfully for them, there's tons in my yard.

I gave my girls leftover fried chicken once before I thought about how wrong that was...on more than one level.

they have eaten baked fish, spaghetti-o's, rice, noodles and my NHR loves jalepeno poppers...i dropped one once and she was all over it.

I fed mine a woodchuck that was.....harvested .. from my garden. They ate the innards but left the rest. I threw that out where the eagles could get it....

I didn't FEED this to my girls, but the weirdest thing they have ever eaten was a hatchling (two, actually) that fell out of their nests.

We had a food fight on my back porch for my dad's birthday last year, lots of bits and pieces of mashed potatoes, spaghetti, jello and cake ended up in the yard. they had a hey day with that.
