What is this and how do I get rid of it???? (Worms??)

I bought wazine from tractor supply and I'm educated guessing the measurement of my spice cup but I think I got it pretty accurate. It's a container of 1oz cayenne pepper I washed out but I figured it actually measures about 2 ouces because it will fill a standard cup up with 4 scoops of water. ANYWAYS I saw you on another post say to give in morning so chickens start drinking. My chickens drank a little bit earlier today should I just go ahead and administer the 1oz per gallon mixture?? or should I try to dehydrate them a little bit more so they drink a little more? It's only 10:20 and they are in fairly cool weather right now. Maybe 70 degrees?

They are probably going to be in cool weather most of the day because I have them shaded very very well, but I can put them out in the direct sun which will reach probably reach 85-90.

Do you have any measuring cups or measuring spoons?
Wazine 17 dosage is 1oz to 1gallon of water.

1oz = 1/8 cup or 2 Tablespoons

I would not try to dehydrate your flock in order to give them medicated water. Wait until tomorrow and put out the medicated water first thing.

You can always withhold the treated water for two hours in the early morning after they are let out of the coop, withhold their feed as well. Ensure there are no other sources of water for them to drink. After the two hours are up, give them the treated water to drink, they will be thirsty and will readily drink the treated water. Then at noon time give them their food to eat, a little at a time gradually increasing feed throughout the afternoon.
Withholding their feed will make the wormer more effective. The reason why you gradually give them feed is because they will be hungry and will gorge their feed possibly causing impacted crop or gizzard. Replace the treated water with fresh water after they go to roost for the night.

Worms weaken the immune system. When the immune system is weakened, it opens the door for diseases to attack their system. Worms slowly starve a chicken to death.
Worms excretion is toxic to chickens. One female large roundworm lays thousands of eggs in one day, contaminating your soil and your other birds will get infected as well.
DE, ZyfendA, VermX wont prevent nor treat worms.
A bottle of Wazine doesnt cost much. Mix one ounce of Wazine into one gallon of water and set it out first thing in the morning before letting your chickens out of the coop. They will be thirsty after being cooped up all night and will readily drink the treated water.
The treated water must be their sole source of water to drink during the whole day.
After they go to roost for the night, discard the treated water and provide regular fresh water for them to drink. You're done, it's that easy.
Then repeat this procedure in 30 days.

Dawg - I have read several of your posts on these boards and you sure do seem knowledgeable on this topic, which is great! I hope you don't mind a question or two - I'm a new chicken mom and I want to do a good job. At least one of my chickens has roundworms, and I have ordered a bottle of Wazine (at a ridiculous price, off of eBay) to treat it. I know there are other options, but I am overwhelmed at the thought of having to get each chicken at night, bring it in the house and figure out how to dose them individually. The idea of just adding something to their drinking water is worth the money to me, and I will follow your advice above. My specific question is, my girls are still young, 14 weeks, and aren't even laying yet. Is there any danger to them with this product at their age? I know I won't have to worry about the eggs, since they aren't even laying yet! Thanking you kindly for any advice you may offer.

There's no danger whatsoever to your 14 week old pullets using wazine or any other wormer for that matter. I usually start worming at 6 weeks old.

I agree with @dawg53. I usually don't close my pop doors on my coops but have found too that the birds are usually thirsty in the mornings and the first thing they do when they get off of the roost is head for the water, so the night before I do close the birds in their coops that night and go out early the next morning and open the pop doors. They all head for the water.
