I have been seeing these tiny crawling bugs on the roof of the nesting box area. As you can see they're pretty small. Any idea what they are. And ps, the white stuff is DE. And if you have any advice on where to find out what they are and/or pest control - that would help too. I will only use natural products.

It's really hard to tell from that picture... they almost look like silverfish, but i can't imagine thats what they are. I'd say catch one and try to go to the local extension office.

Thanks - It's really hard to get a better picture - sorry 'bout that. And ya know, that's what they look like - tiny little silverfish. I'm wondering how to get rid of them. Or maybe they're helpful?

Anyone else have a clue.

In the meantime I'll do a search.
thanks

No, they're much smaller and no wings. If you look at the picture you can see a phillip's head screw to give an indication of size.

Thanks!

I can't tell real good but do they look kinda like tiny beetles? If they do they are probably weevils. Do you see them in the feed or just on the walls and such?

Edit: nevermind I see the screw now LOL

Silverfish are considered a household pest, due to their consumption and destruction of property.[6] While responsible for the contamination of food and other types of damage, they do not transmit disease.[2][17] (Via Wikepedia)

Actually, I looked and sliverfish are much larger in size. These guys are much smaller.

Hoping someone has seen these before.
Thanks all.
