That is a pretty significant fowl pox, a virus spread by mosquitoes in hot weather. There is no treatment other than to make sure the chickens are eating and drinking well. It lasts about a month to 6 weeks, unless yellow oral lesions are discovered inside the beak and throat. That is the wet form of pox and more serious. I would apply Terramycin ointment twice a day to any eyes that have scabs right next to them. That can help prevent a secondary eye infection. Scabs when shed can continue to be infectious when they turn to powder and are inhaled by others who have not had pox. Affected birds should be resistant to pox in the future. People who have flocks in the deep south and tropical regions may consider vaccines for fowl pox. Here is a good article to read:
