Alot of dark color there and what appears to be pointed tail feathers, Rooster I think.

See this tail? Nicely barred, huh? That was a pullet. She molted out every one of those about 15 weeks old, had a white tail, then grew in nice tail black later on. These Delawares can play head games with you sometimes, though I already knew that Gracie was a pullet by that age.

I know what you mean I have given away roosters? that I was informed later were hens. The red in the combs on pullets can come in early and that is why I keep the Delawares longer. My best and biggest rooster has no barring in the tail feathers all dark and when he was about 4 months old he lost all his barred tail feathers, he did have pointed to the tip tail feathers though.
