the long tailed weasel on the website I saw has a black tip to it's long tail...and the dead one we found was real skinny like a baby chipmunk, and only 5-6" long (+ the long tail..)
whatever it was, I"m glad to find out its an adult, could've been killed by my cats, can be easily killed using liver and a rat trap under a box, and they are sometimes solitary animals other than when breeding...I hope I never see any others- a predator is a predator and still is a pain no matter what name it goes by. Was really hoping it was a baby ferret .
