OMG! Still no feathers Darn, I wish I lived on the Mainland If it weren't for our Dept of Ag, the weather here would be perfect for him. Thank you for the update, going to be when you do rehome him. Would be nice if whomever does take him will keep us updated on his feathering and health I really would if it weren't for the red tape

I don't think he is a freak at all - there are some chickens that are completely naked and they are bred to be that way. So no need to pluck their feathers - as meat birds. He would look very jaunty with a sweater and scarf.

Update: So the little dude is 11 weeks old and just started getting feather quills poking out in most of his naked areas. His neck and chest still have many bald patches and he still has a crazy mullet.

I’m surprised he’s actually feathering and blown away that it took 11 weeks for him to start!
