The lower the number the less in focus (great for portraits, or shots like this) the higher the number, like f11 will have more in focuse (like a shot of a mountain range or something).
I want your camera. All I've got is a EOS 250D. Of the lenses I have, I much prefer the Sigma 70-200mm lens. Gives a wide range of options.
