Those are show stock friend.. Im sure anyone who raises them could chime in that they come that color as well, it's just genetics and what you go through raising show poultry expecially difficult coloring "I would expect, im not sure on the lacing colors since i don't raise them".. You get horrible coloring, fair coloring, good coloring, and perfect coloring.

ETA: She many not be a white laced red, but she does have cornish blood in her and they don't come pyle (even though it isn't a pyle color really, it's more of a red shouldered color. )

Sorry. It was just bugging me that people kept saying it was a white laced red when it looked nothing like it to me. It might have helped if the OP had posted a picture of the bird in a natural stance.

Yes, I borrowed your roo! Do you need him back?

I've tried to get more pictures of her during the daytime, but it's 120 degrees here, so when I go to see her, she's standing with her wings away from her sides, beak open, and her legs apart. So the pictures I did take didn't represent her well. I may have to wait till after summer, or during a summer monsoon, to get pictures of her. You know, I may just have to bring her into the house. Then you could see photos of a scared hen running from 2 little kids.

I saw the cornish pictures that poultry master had, and her body and head looked a lot like the hens, but her legs are where it all gets thrown off. She's not as boxy- body wise- as his, and her legs are close together, skinny, and a pale yellow with a hint of green.

If I could send McMurray Hatchery an e-mail with her pic, I'm sure I'd get an answer, but I can't figure out how to add a photo to their website. They don't give an e-mail address. Just a 'contact us' page.

Can you post some photos of your hens with frontal shots, please?
(Wow, that sounds obscene, doesn't it?)
