I've tried to get more pictures of her during the daytime, but it's 120 degrees here, so when I go to see her, she's standing with her wings away from her sides, beak open, and her legs apart. So the pictures I did take didn't represent her well. I may have to wait till after summer, or during a summer monsoon, to get pictures of her. You know, I may just have to bring her into the house. Then you could see photos of a scared hen running from 2 little kids.
I saw the cornish pictures that poultry master had, and her body and head looked a lot like the hens, but her legs are where it all gets thrown off. She's not as boxy- body wise- as his, and her legs are close together, skinny, and a pale yellow with a hint of green.
If I could send McMurray Hatchery an e-mail with her pic, I'm sure I'd get an answer, but I can't figure out how to add a photo to their website. They don't give an e-mail address. Just a 'contact us' page.
