Poor Ms. Pretty. That's the weirdest case of fowl pox I've ever seen. But I am so glad it doesn't appear to be anything more serious! Fingers crossed it clears up soon!

I know! I ruled it out as soon as I found all the neck lumps! So very strange. She’s such a difficult pullet to catch and deal with too, so it’s hard to check on her. Everyone else seems to have a super mild case of it…so confusing! Thanks for all the support!

Well Ms. Pretty took a serious turn for the worst…I went out to put them away for the night and found her laying in the run and she looked dead. Her face and lumps were getting better but she hated being picked up so I was trying to limit her stress. She seemed a bit run down still but she was eating treats and such I just don’t know what happened. I’m so very sad we put one of my other chickens down yesterday because she had advanced sour crop that just wouldn’t improve. My heart is feeling very heavy and broken tonight.
