What is this Please

Hi my pintail has this on his feet. Photos attached.

He has a green stain on vent, strong smell.
Another pintail had the same symptons and died 2 months ago.

Is it bumble foot.

What can i do.

He has been stressed lately by another big drake trying to mount him.
I have them apart now.

It sounds like he may have an infection. It could have started as bumblefoot and become systemic. Do you have access to a vet or wildlife rehabilitator who could advise you? I think more experienced duck keepers here will check in. My guess is an infection, and it likely will need antibiotics.

Do you have vitamins you can give him immediately in the meantime? Do you have access to antibiotics?

X2 about the vet. I would see if you could find someone to see him. If, like Amiga suggested, it has become systemic, you could loose him pretty quick. Clean the area of infection really well. Check for any really foul smell coming from the injury/infection because that is a bad sign, and it may be something you can tell the vet in order to hasten treatment. If you do not have a vet who is familiar with birds, you may want to do a quick internet search for safe antibiotics for waterfowl, just on the off chance the vet trys to prescribe something that shouldn't be prescribed for birds.
