This is one of my girls. I noticed a darkening on her wattle. It feels like a little lump or a mass. It feels like a keloid or a soft nodule. Is this a problem. Is her comb healthy?

How big is your coop/run? Do your chickens have places to run and hide? How many other chickens do you have? How many sources of food and water do you have? I think someones been pecking her. It doesnt look like fowl pox or anything like that to me.

You can put vicks on it. It will heal faster. Maybe the taste will deter the pecking? Idk.

Same happened to my girl she was fine in a few days. Nothing to worry about. Just watch her to make sure it doesn't get worse.
