What is this thing in the mealworm bin?

What is the white-ish thing in the meal worm bin?
It wasn't there yesterday...but when we checked on them this morning, we saw it there.

Looks like a mold/fungus of some sort. I'd be tempted to remove it.

That's what we were thinking. The beetles seem to love it though, like they are all around it, but I still think we will remove it.
