Looks like a developing chick ... You can see the eyes & beak, you've have Broodies & not collecting every day ... A "meat" spot is when a tissue of the lining breaks off & makes it's way into the yolk, "blood" spots similar.

Meat spot is a different thing. Looks to me that one of your young gun’s ain’t shooting blanks.

Definitely looks like development to me also. I’d guess around 7-10 days. Looks like it was refrigerated after being brought inside, or left out in the cold after development stopped.

Yeah, that's a developing embryo.
Were your hens previously around other roosters, or is there a possibility that a stray rooster got in? If not, then yeah, one of your boys is mature enough to mate.

I mean, technically it's possible that this is parthenogenesis, self-cloning. Some species of reptiles clone themselves, and spontaneous parthenogenesis has been reported a couple of times in sharks. It's theoretically possible that your hen cloned herself, but impossible to tell for certain without a DNA test, and it's much more likely that one of your roosters matured early.

Definitely is a developing embryo. The membrane appears to have been broken open when you cracked the egg open (wrinkled membrane).
I would suspect an early maturing cockerel.

Thanks guys! I know it seems obvious in hindsight, I was just shocked my young roosters would be fornicating so soon. But I saw one mounting my hens this morning so that solves it. Gotta start getting better at collecting eggs

I ordered three chicks from featherloverfarm.com. I slipped them under my broody buff orpington hen to watch her raise some little ones... They were only a couple days old so they weren't sexed. Turned out two of them grew up to be gorgeous roosters. Sadly I have to find a new home for them. I live in the suburbs and Im surprised my neighbors haven't killed me (or them) yet for there new morning wake up call

Normally I wouldn't be so attached to a noisy rooster but man they are pretty! Hoping to find some folks that appreciate the breed and give them a nice home

I'd ask the neighbors if they are bothered by the cockerels. Maybe keep only one if they are good about it. I didn't want roosters and ended up with an accidental boy. He was my favorite so I offered a dozen eggs as I asked about the crowing bothering them. No one had a problem. If you diligently collect the eggs daily you wont have embryos. Until you are sure you are collecting freshly laid eggs don't offer gifts! For your own use try candling befor use till all your current egg collection is used up.

To be honest as much as I'd like to keep my roosters, they annoy even me in the morning plus Im in an area where Im not even allowed to have them. Luckily one of my chicks turned out to be a hen so I can keep her
